Great app. I love the set up of it. It lets you practice speaking, putting sentences together, multiple choice questions. Definitely worth buying. On thing that could be tweaked: at the end of a lesson, it shows a globe and the words pop up in English and then it is pronounced in Farsi for example, the Farsi word is cut short because the word only shows up for about 3 seconds before the next word pops up. Nothing major. But it's a wonderful app. Very helpful in my journey of learning farsi
Very nice app. But in app sounds become silent very often. This is very didgusting. This needs to be rectified. Then this app can get *****. So I gave ****. Right now my in app sound is silent. But I can't throw my Very new Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Technical team is requested to to some radical treatment for this. Thanks all team of Mondly.
Great app for beginners. But I find it gets hard quickly. Maybe breaking it down further to have a beginner at each category where you just learn words, Not full sentences. Locked levels would also be great for motivation.
Some of the native speakers are teaching words that are not commonly spoken (so formal it's only spoken in government). In that sense not good, but this is great for general understanding of a language. Also the prononciations of the speakers are so weird
This app has a lot to offer! In terms of design and attention to detail (visual presentation, accuracy of translations, functionality of sound bites, etc) this has room for improvement still. Considering the price, the consumer should expect perfection. However - the richness and multitude of exercises is so impressing. It is truly a complete language course and I don't think that can be said about other apps. It allows different students to work differently in a never ending flow of exercises at different levels. It covers languages that are rare, like Farsi, and being able to switch alphabets is so helpful. So it's definitely worth the money of you are serious about learning the language.
Finally, thank you for this. I have been requesting Persian from Duolingo for so long and never get a reply. Rosetta Stone do have Persian but their prices are extortionate at least Mondly has affordable subscriptions. I am off to Tehran in March so again thank you.
- This one is huge - the biggest update since Mondly launched 3 years ago
