Some comments stated they "paid" for the app? I don't know how that's possible; the platform is subsidized by independent artists. That may change, but as for my experience, I don't even think the app knows my name and as I recall, it never asked me to create an account. Faidr works by 'covering' commercial breaks, so yes, you may experience early "fades" if a song is playing and the break ends first - hence the name: "faidr". $0 dollars and privacy are small prices to pay for FREE.

I tried to use it and paid for the service for a month or two . But it isn't ready for prime time. Songs cut out after 10 or 20 seconds. Faidr often joins live radio in the middle of song. Live radio constantly skips ahead by a few seconds making it painful to listen to. Radio stations are limited and the search feature doesn't easily find them. There are thousands of other apps that perform better and are free. Save your money.

Good app so far but it doesn't have the station I listen to 24/7, 365 days a year and would like to find out how I can add a station? The station Bob 106.1 fm out of Elk River/Princeton MN (turn your knob to Bob). Please help me out, with getting this station implemented into the local stations line up. Thank you! Also, my other issue is not being able to skip over songs or rewind at all. Understandable that it's a radio station app, but even within the premixed stations, this isn't an option.
