Ratings and reviews

It's a good app it does have a big library, but you're buying 1 book a month for $15+tax so it's a bit pricey. Better off just buying the book at a discount price from any app. Plus, audible will charge you even after you cancel your membership. I canceled my membership 2 weeks ago and just yesterday it tried to charge me before the account closes. No bueno

Auto plays without permission. I turn the continue feature off and even on phone restart (when audible hasn't even been opened) - it will still continue a book when connecting to my car's Bluetooth and start playing a book. I ended up uninstalling and canceling my subscription. edited 1/2026 - reinstalled. this is still true. and the timer does not work. I set it to end of chapter to listen as I go to sleep, wake up to a finished book.

Greatest Audiobook resource I've used! Lots of titles, price for subscription is great, lots of sales. Update 03/02/2026 I recently received a new phone for my birthday. When I went to continue my current title, my progress didn't transfer over for some reason. Not a big deal, but a little inconvenient. Still an awesome app!
