Very good mix of sounds and music and stories if you want to try them out but this app should able screen off. If you power off, it stops the app too. I have this on an old mobile for headphone use overnight and woke up to 11% from full the night before. Just as well I didn't need to use it when I woke up!
Calm has been a blessing in my life. I've always had difficulty in my efforts to meditate. I enjoyed the free version so much that I purchased the full app. I'm so glad I did. The guided meditations are wonderful. I start every day with this and it gives me peace and clarity. My child has asked for the stories every night and it puts her to restful sleep in minutes. This app has done wonders for my anxiety also. Tamara's voice is amazing. Thank you.
I absolutely love this app! It was recommended by my sister and ever since I got it, i use it every night. Sometimes I have to re-listen to some of it because it makes me fall asleep so quickly. The only thing I would say is that I wish there was more options for those who haven't unlocked all of it and want to see more before paying
This app is literally the only thing besides medication that helps me sleep. I've suffered chronic insomnia for years, but being able to create a routine where every night I listen to a story, and every morning I listen to the daily calm has helped me so much, I may be able to stop taking sleep medication all together. I have recommended this app to so many people all ready, and I plan to recommend it to more.
Helpful, well designed app I really enjoy this app, I've found it useful and it teaches meditation in an easy to learn way. I like this app primarily because of its simplicity- other apps require you to log your mood or pulse which I found incredibly annoying. My only complaint is that the background music pauses or jumps around the 8 or 9 minute mark, which disrupts my focus, but apart from that its great.
