Audiobooks Now is my first choice when acquiring new books. The app is well designed and has functioned flawlessly for me. Their selection of titles is up-to-the-minute and the prices are very competitive. I use both streaming and download features and have been very pleased with both. The only mild annoyance I have is that those titles that are under DRM are not clearly marked at purchase. All in all, I highly recommend this company!

The app works well. I am comparing to Audible's app. First, the difference in the price of books between Audiobooks Now and Audible is astounding. The download speed (if you download your books) is slightly slower than Audible in most situations. So, you have to be patient if you are used to the 60-second download. The tracks obviously correspond to tracks on CDs or DVDs and thus do not necessarily correspond to book chapter breaks. This can be a problem if you want to go back to a previous chapter and listen again. However, that is only a problem for nonfiction books, at least for me. The audio quality is good. The way the books in in my audiobooks now library are shown in a vertical array works well for me, and of course, you can archive books that you do not want to see again. I have been using the app for several years on Android and it has been significantly improved during that period. I recommend it to everyone. Update: the developer replied that chapters are available via preset bookmarks. Thanks for the info.

This app sells audiobooks at a discount rate and decent quality. Unfortunately, this app crashes ALL THE TIME! If you attempt to run other apps it crashes, if you listen too long it crashes, and sometimes it just crashes for no reason. If I wouldn't have bought several books in quick succession I would have paid more to use a better app, because this app is a major pain in the ass.
