I've been using a few different apps and tools over the last couple years to help me better select opportunities for viewing and taking photos. Very few apps actually do what they advertise and even fewer, do it well. This app has so far met the challenge and become a intrigul tool in my arsenal.

Hard UX. Some cards are clickable, some not—always a lottery will you guess and it will flip. No explanations for terms (e.g. solar wind density and why it's impacting). I like that each feature has color indication, but it's too crowded with colors. Also would be nice to combine all these states and show one card "chance to see aurora in ***" (combine kp, clouds, etc). And would be nice fo have linear map. In general — need some UX work and testing with novice/expert users 🙂

It's been generally accurate when predicting Aurora's, but the time and cloud coverage is WAY off. Most of the time it states that the sun will set at 4am where I live and so I'm not able to report sightings accurately.

DST created a problem, which should now be fixed. Also, there could be 2 places with a similar name (the best is to geolocalize to avoid this issue). The wrong cloud coverage might be due to this. Contact me back in the in-app form if the problem persists and we'll try fixing it. Hope this helps and that you'll give the app another chance :)
