About this app

CaptureOne TV makes screenshots and screen recording comfortable from the couch. Its clean, remote-friendly interface keeps the essentials easy to reach: Screenshot, Record screen, and My captures.

Capture on your terms

• Choose a 3, 5, 10, or 15-second preparation timer
• Navigate to the exact screen you want before capture starts
• Create full-resolution screenshots
• Record smooth H.264 screen video
• Stop a recording by returning to CaptureOne TV

Sound and narration

• Include permitted app playback audio
• Add optional voice narration using the TV microphone
• Store audio together with the finished recording

Review everything on TV

• Browse screenshots and recordings in a local gallery
• Preserve the original video aspect ratio
• Pause and resume playback
• Rewind or move forward by 10 seconds
• Seek through a recording with the transparent timeline
• Delete captures you no longer need

Move a capture to your phone

Choose QR to phone to make a selected file available temporarily on your local network. Scan the code with a phone connected to the same network and download the file directly. CaptureOne TV does not upload your capture to a developer-operated cloud service.

Local by design

CaptureOne TV has no account, advertising SDK, or analytics SDK. Screenshots and recordings remain in the app’s local storage until you delete them, clear the app’s data, or uninstall the app.

Android requires approval for every new screen-capture session. Some streaming services and protected content use DRM or HDCP and may appear black or prevent audio capture. Playback-audio availability also depends on the source app and TV firmware.
