SMOTV is a remote-friendly Android TV browser and navigation layer designed for social-media websites. Browse popular services, search for a platform, or add another social website while keeping controls predictable from the sofa.

BUILT FOR A TV REMOTE

• Use the directional pad to move between apps and page controls
• Press OK to open or activate the focused item
• Press Back to leave a website and return to a clean Home screen
• Use voice search and voice typing on supported Android TV devices
• Open optional browser controls only when you need them

MAKE HOME YOURS

• Reorder Home icons with the directional pad
• Remove an icon without deleting its website account
• Restore hidden services from Search
• Add shortcuts for other social websites

PRIVATE LOCAL PROFILES

• Keep separate website sessions for different people on the same TV
• Protect household profiles with an optional local PIN
• Use Incognito for a temporary session that clears when closed
• Keep profile names, icon layout and website storage locally on the TV

TV-FRIENDLY VIEWING

SMOTV uses the full screen without a permanent navigation footer. Portrait content is presented inside the television's landscape display while preserving its intended shape where the website supports it.
