TV Info Bar adds a compact information bar above your Android TV or Google TV apps, so the time, date, connection status and media volume are easy to check.

MAKE IT YOURS
Choose opaque, translucent or transparent backgrounds and adjust the bar size to suit your screen. Preview the appearance in a remote-friendly setup screen.

STAYS OUT OF THE WAY
Optional D-pad auto-hide makes the bar disappear while you navigate and return four seconds after activity stops. Start or stop the bar from the app. When enabled, it can restart after your TV starts, subject to your device’s background restrictions.

CLEAR PERMISSION CONTROLS
Display over other apps permission is needed to draw the bar. An ongoing foreground service keeps it available while enabled. Optional AccessibilityService access detects D-pad key presses and focus or selection changes only to trigger auto-hide. It does not read screen text, store those signals, transmit them, or perform actions in other apps. The bar works without Accessibility access.

LOCAL AND SIMPLE
No ads, accounts, subscriptions or analytics. Display information is processed on your TV and your preferences stay on the device.

Designed for Android TV and Google TV devices running Android 11 or later. This is an overlay: it does not reserve screen space or resize other apps. Some system or protected screens may prevent overlays, and device-specific restrictions may affect automatic startup.
