I have used Autotrader for 20+ years. I vastly prefer it over every other service/app. I cannot use it anymore because anytime I click on pictures within a listing it freezes and I have to close the app. I've restarted my phone, I've uninstalled and re-installed the app. It happens every time without fail. Total bummer. I am switching to cars.cok which I do not want to do. edit: almost immediately after this review the issue was fixed...back to using Autotrader, thanks goodness!

Better for research as a buyer than seller. Glitchy app full of scammers. The messages page blinks, crashes, and would not let me mark a message as read/delete scammer texts. I requested a refund for the $49 listing fee after my vehicle ad ran for 7 days/99 views compared to 5,000+ views on FB marketplace. Despite not meeting my expectations, they only offered a 40% refund or "$19.6 dollars" after 30 mins on the phone... and I have to take down my ad. So disappointed. Not recommended.

If you want to pay to have scams attempted on you, this is the app for you, because that's all that happened when I purchased their services. I might, maybe, possibly have had one legitimate buyer lead across two vehicle sales. Also, once you start receiving their emails, good luck getting off of them. Their unsubscribe system is utterly broken. I'm in the midst of having to argue with their support that I'm receiving emails from them. I've used AutoTrader for years, but won't in the future.
