News worthy of your time:
Axios' expert journalists cut through the noise by reporting only facts that matter. Our concise reporting helps you understand the collisions of politics, business, culture, science & technology and the opportunities & challenges these create across industries - from media and sports, to energy and transportation.

Designed for focus:
Our app provides a clean reading experience that puts the news you care about front and center. You start by following specific channels that correspond to topics that interest you. You can then access relevant content either in a single integrated feed or by hopping from channel to channel. And to make sure you stay on top of the news, Axios journalists will send you helpful notifications only for noteworthy moments.

Offline Access and Dark Mode:
The app works offline, enabling you to catch up with the latest version of the news on your device even when your network connection is down. It also comes with Dark mode support for Android 10 to protect your eyes when you read the news at night and preserve your battery.

The content is good, and I love the presentation, but the app itself is not very well made, and the UX (user experience) is frustrating. Pull-to-refresh doesn't work, at times the back button doesn't work, you can sign in but not sign up, and it's a whopping 27 megabytes in size despite having almost no graphical assets that I can see. Axios has great content, but they need better developers.

Great news source, not much bias, some articles are meant to alarm people, but they're few and far between. Advertising is sketchy. Too many ads for Google (propaganda ads against anti-trust laws), sometimes overboard with Amazon ads. But, most articles are good information. I like that you can see how long, and how many words are in each article. I like the "go deeper" option. Once in awhile, while slowly scrolling, the app hiccups you, to the ad at the end of a paragraph/article.

In spite of developer saying on Aug 24 that the notification now takes you directly to the article, tapping an alert in notifications never NEVER takes you to the corresponding article, not even close. You have to search all over the app, throughout several sections to find the article. How basic is this? Fire the tech team, get another. Frustrating. Can't use it.

Hi Michael — In the latest app update we've added a new tab specifically to house your notifications. This should also ensure that alerts direct you to the corresponding article. If you're still experiencing bugs with the app you can contact us at, thanks for reading Axios!
