The DELF (Diplôme d'études en langue française) and DALF (Diplôme approfondi de langue française) are official French language diplomas awarded by the French Ministry of National Education and designed by France Éducation international. Recognized worldwide and valid for life, they certify your level on the CEFR scale, from A1 to C2.

The DELF and DALF are all-or-nothing diplomas: a failing grade (less than 5/25) on a single section results in failure, even with a good overall score. The app calculates your score according to the official rule—at least 50 out of 100 overall and

5 out of 25 on each test—for guidance only. Only the official sources below are authoritative.
