An unofficial practice app published by AZSoft. It does not represent any government body and is not affiliated with France Éducation international (FEI) or the French Ministry of Education.

The DELF (Diplôme d'études en langue française) and the DALF (Diplôme approfondi de langue française) are the official French-language diplomas issued by France Éducation international on behalf of the French Ministry of Education. Recognised worldwide and valid for life, they certify your level on the CEFR scale, from A1 to C2. Unlike a scored test, a diploma is pass or fail: you need at least 50 out of 100 overall and at least 5 out of 25 in each of the 4 papers (comprehension and production, oral and written).

PASSING YOUR DIPLOMA

The DELF and the DALF are all-or-nothing diplomas: an eliminatory mark (below 5/25) in a single paper fails you, even with a good total. The app computes its estimate under that rule — total out of 100 and a minimum per paper — for guidance only. Only the official sources below are authoritative.
