I'm coming from Pocket Cast and I couldn't be happier. I found all the settings I needed and more, I was even able to easily import the list of my podcasts from Pocket cast. I will try it for a few weeks and probably pay for the removal of the banner ad. Suggestion: I see a lot of people overwhelm with the amount of settings and customability, It could easily be solved by defaulting to a simple interface with simple settings and have an expert option that opens up the rest.

Was enjoying the app as a replacement for Stitcher until recently. With the lastest update, ads start playing over the currently playing podcast, not as part of the podcast. When this happens, I can pause the podcast and the ad continues to play. I have to exit out of Podcast Addict to stop the ad. Update: based on the developer response, I changed the rating. I will try to keep track of the shows that are performed this weird behavior.

Works well. I like the ability to play podcasts from the first episode to the last. Sometimes it fails to automatically play the next podcast that I downloaded. I would like a feature to delete played episodes some time (e.g. 30 minutes) after playing, in case I decide to keep it to play again.
