As with everyone else, first connection/pairing was painful. Intermittently works as expected. Sometimes have to connect manually. First flight with them, they were unusable due connection/interference. Last issue I had, today, music would pause every 10-15 minutes. I use the player with a speaker all the time, no issues S22. Factory reset seems to have corrected that. When working, they work very well. Sound quality seems great, but overall I expected a better experience for the price.

Using it with Beoplay EQ. The setup feels like a test of luck. After the setup is done, the app consistently fails to "connect" to the earbuds even though they are connected to the phone and playing music. Charging case battery level is some time displayed, and most of the time not. The control interface looks nice, but is very laggy. Audio feedback of control actions are also pretty annoying. The earbuds also some time lose its previous settings. The only good thing is equalizing seems to work.

Atrocious. First off what an awful app experience. I had a heck of a time trying to accomplish initial setup and pairing. Stuck in an endless loop of telling me there was an update, the update saying completed etc and starting over again. The app itself is a programing nightmare. Terribly buggy, force closes, back button takes you 2 steps back, the worst. All this on the latest android on a galaxy S22 Ultra. What's worse is the performance of these Portal headsets I purchased. I regret it.
