The App setup wasn't difficult, but it's absurd that I paid extra for the WiFi equipped generator, and the App only provides notifications if you PAY $7.95 / month. It's only connecting MY generator to MY internet connection. Of all the WiFi enabled devices in my home, this is the ONLY App that wants a monthly fee for simple push notifications, like when it starts running and when there's a problem. I will NOT recommend Generac to my friends because of this greed.

Disappointed with this app. I've had the generator for a month. The app is still reporting 0 hours run even after it has been doing a test exercise every week. Also, you can't get notifications unless you pay for a subscription. I have a Koehler generator at my vacation home and the app for that is more intuitive and provides me notifications for free. I would not recommend this app.

I have had this generator several years, and now, for several days, I haven't been able to log into the app. it freezes at please wait while we process your information. I've un-installed the app multiple times, changed my password, and reconnected the generator to the WiFi. Nothing! very disappointed. The help links are not useful for this issue. I finally found a way on this page to ask for help. We will see.
