Ratings and reviews

This is a good app for command and control of the information for your Generac. My only complaint is that their needs to be a way to remotely reset the unit's internet connection without having to use the local controller pad in the cold or rain, if a reset of the connection is needed. Otherwise bug free from my experience.

The App setup wasn't difficult, but it's absurd that I paid extra for the WiFi equipped generator, and the App only provides notifications if you PAY $7.95 / month. It's only connecting MY generator to MY internet connection. Of all the WiFi enabled devices in my home, this is the ONLY App that wants a monthly fee for simple push notifications, like when it starts running and when there's a problem. I will NOT recommend Generac to my friends because of this greed.

So frustrating! I selected my connectivity device, entered serial number and then elected to remain with Basic plan. It then tells me I've finished setting up my generator. However, when it goes to dashboard, it once again tells me to finish setting up generator. Basically it is in an endless loop. This really sucks
