About this app

With the easybank Germany app, you stay in control of everything: whether it's your credit card, installment loan, overdraft, or credit line.

- Keep track of your finances: Check transactions, view your balance, and download statements.

- Manage repayments: Use the app to decide how you want to pay your monthly statement.

- Set up a payment plan: For individual expenses starting at €95 or for your entire monthly statement, you can set up a payment plan via the app – even up to 8 weeks later.

- Stay informed: The account information service notifies you of your chosen account activity via push notification or email.

- Always have your PIN with you: With the app, you can securely access your card PIN at any time, unlock it if needed, or set a custom PIN.

- Misplaced or lost your card? Use the app to temporarily block your card or report it immediately in case of loss, theft, or damage.

- Make transfers whenever you want: Transfers are instantaneous and can be made from anywhere with the app.

Note: The full range of app features is only available to credit card customers. Installment loan and revolving credit customers have limited access. Savings account customers cannot currently use the app.

Ratings and reviews

Recently, the login failures have been a disaster. Almost every day now, the app doesn't let the user log in to manage their account or cards. This must improve urgently and such errors were extremely rare previously under the Barclays umbrella before the switch to Easybank.

Generally, everything is very serviceable. I feel like the design could use some modernization and restructuring here and there, though I don't mind that too much as long as it works. Another thing I noticed is that loading times can be a little rough at times. Overall though, it does its job.

This is banking from the 90s. First, they advertise in English but once you open an account, everything is 100% in German only; To make matters worse, you can't use a screen translator to translate the app screen because it's blocked; To make matters even worse, for some of the most basic things you need to CALL them, and no one speaks English (although they are super patient with bad German speakers). The other day I tried to report a bad transaction and the in app support returned an error.
