Like everyone says, these are tasty earbuds, especially at their price. It's a shame this free app isn't worth it's cost intrusive as hell, requires an account to gain "full access" (whatever that means), assuming it lets you make one. No dice for me. Fortunately, even as it is, at least you can access basic setting and assign buttons. Don't let the app deter you, but: BASEUS FIX THIS APP. You're crippling a great budget earbuds!

This software is way to intrusive and basically unreliable. It asks for permissions to every bit of personal information just to connect to the earbuds including contacts, photos, and location. Wildly unnecessary for a pair of basic earbuds. And even after all of that, it barely works. Firmware updates fail 100% of the time, and technical support is basically non existent.

If you got Bowie m2s Ultra, use the case, do not use this app. It annoyingly shoves account creation all the time. Once you do, it asks for location permission. You must enable location in order to change anything via app. But, without asking me, it also sends a location to the backend, so I could "know where the buds are". Yeah right, that's intrusion to privacy. Furthermore, there are no options for multipoint, you cannot use the app on multiple devices (you get unlogged). Just use the case.
