About this app

Barq (برق) is the driver app for the Batuttah third-party logistics platform. If you deliver for a company that ships with Batuttah, Barq is your daily cockpit: your routes, your parcels, your cash — in one place, in Arabic or English, online or offline.

TO SIGN IN you need a company code from your dispatcher, plus your registered phone number. Barq is used by drivers across the many companies that run on Batuttah — if your company isn't on Batuttah yet, the app won't be useful to you.

YOUR DAY ON BARQ

• Routes & navigation — see today's delivery and pickup trips, accept and start routes, and follow every stop on a live map with ETAs and one-tap navigation to Google Maps.
• Barcode scanning — receive parcels onto your route by scanning them; bulk scanning with a live counter for busy mornings at the hub.
• Proof of delivery — capture photos, signatures, or customer OTP codes at the door, exactly as each shipment requires.
• Cash on delivery — see the exact amount to collect for every stop, track your cash balance against your limit, and hand over with a receipt reference at closeout.
• Failed deliveries & issues — record failed attempts with a reason and reschedule date; report damaged or lost parcels with photos and GPS, even mid-route.
• Works offline — no signal in the basement or the desert road? Every action queues locally and syncs automatically when you're back online.
• Notifications — new assignments, route changes and announcements arrive instantly.
• Ratings — see how customers and merchants rate your deliveries over time.

PERMISSIONS BARQ USES

• Location (while using the app) — to track route progress and calculate ETAs during active trips. Barq does not track your location in the background.
• Camera — to scan barcodes and capture proof-of-delivery photos.
• Photos — to attach existing photos to delivery proofs or damage reports.
