About this app

Beadwell is a calm, Montessori-inspired math practice app for children ages 5–9. It gives kids a quiet place to build early math skills at home, while traveling, or wherever a tablet is available.

Instead of fast-paced game loops, Beadwell offers short, focused practice with warm visual materials, gentle feedback, and a clear concrete-to-abstract progression. Children work with counting, number matching, addition, subtraction, comparisons, patterns, missing numbers, shapes, place value, word problems, and more.

Designed for Kindergarten through Grade 3, Beadwell adjusts practice to the child’s current learning level. Younger learners begin with hands-on visual activities, while older learners gradually work with more symbolic math and reasoning.

Children can:
• Start a regular practice session
• Choose a math area from the Work Shelf
• Complete parent-created practice missions
• Customize a simple bead
• View a gentle Learning Journal

Beadwell keeps the focus on the work itself. There are no ads, points, coins, streaks, leaderboards, or child-facing performance scores. Completion screens offer calm encouragement rather than turning practice into a contest.

Parents can open the protected Parent Tools area to adjust grade level, session length, encouragement style, companion settings, and audio. The optional Parent Toolkit is a one-time purchase that unlocks parent reports, a curriculum map, and tools for creating focused practice missions. Child math practice remains free.
