The accessibility service in Before Launcher is disabled by default. Your consent is required to allow the accessibility service to be used by the Before Launcher and when consent is granted it is only used for the double-tap feature. You can revoke your consent at any time. The feature and the service do not collect or share any data.

I was looking for a minimalist user interface without losing the full functionality of my phone. I use the free version. I have not seen any ads. I use only text for displaying my apps. The notification filter is perfect and puts you back in control of when you interact with your phone. You can use black and white icons or even the regular icons. I recommend this app if looking for a minimalist user interface with control over your notifications and appearance. It can do more than that too.

It has been very nice for my busy ADHD homeschooling mom brain to be able to focus when I pick up my phone with a task, email, etc in mind. I've had no issues with this app after months of use. I wish all phones were this simple. You can access any of your phones apps including your settings. It does not change any apps, only how they appear on your screen. I appreciate that I only get important notifications now. My phone is so much less of a nuisance. I recommend it to all!

I really like this launcher. I originally got this for building a mostly offline 'iPod' out of an Android phone I got from a thrift shop for 5 bucks. It worked wonderfully. now its on my main. I think the only gripe I've had so far,this may be an android issue, is that wallpapers want to 'scroll' when moving between the 3 tabs. it would be awesome if we could just center it and it stay that way. would love a media widget too given my use case, but may not align with the mission.
