Let’s tackle loneliness and break the stigma with Beluga Pods.
Loneliness is a growing crisis, often overlooked but deeply felt. Beluga Pods is here to change that. We are challenging assumptions, changing the narrative, and shifting society to tackle loneliness head-on. Our mission is to help you feel seen, heard, and connected—even in the most isolating moments.
We take a staged approach to tackling loneliness:
Stage 1 – Connection to Yourself
Beluga Pods starts with you, helping you build self-awareness and resilience. Use our Mood Tracker & Self-Help Journal to reflect and build awareness, explore daily small tasks that encourage kindness, new experiences, and stepping outside your comfort zone, and access signposting to charities for additional support when needed. Enjoy full autonomy over how you use the platform, from personalising theme colour to engaging in social skills training, habit building, set tasks and affirmations that build confidence. Plus, you’re never alone—Beluga Pal (your AI companion) is always there to provide support. Let us know what friends you want for the next stage! We can then bring this in, so please tell your friends and colleagues, so we can do this!
Stage 2 – Coming Soon (Tell us what you want, and we’ll make it happen!)
Loneliness isn’t just about being alone—it’s about lacking meaningful connections. In Stage 2, you’ll be able to find and connect with like-minded people, privately, create a unique Beluga avatar for anonymity and safety, and join sociable pods designed to foster real-world friendships through peer-to-peer connections. We treat everyone the same, as humans and connect on lived experiences.
Just like beluga whales, who live in pods of 5–25 members, we thrive together. Use the app for a few minutes each day, then step away and take real-world action—because true connection starts offline.
Loneliness is complex, but with Beluga Pods, we can tackle it. Build habits that bring you back to what matters: people, purpose, and presence.
