SET BOUNDARIES AROUND YOUR PHONE
Boundary Line, available on Connect and higher, routes ordinary SMS and supported phone calls through a dedicated BestInterest number. Your co-parent needs no app or account, and you don't have to share your personal number. Set call windows and choose whether incoming calls can reach you. Protect Plus adds voicemail and optional recording for supported calls.

Smart Silence, available on Protect and higher, lets you choose when non-urgent message alerts arrive. Check messages on your terms while likely urgent alerts still come through.

COACHING WHEN CONFLICT SPIKES
Ask the AI Coparent Coach how to respond to a difficult message, set a boundary, or bring a conversation back to the children. The Free plan includes three coaching sessions each day; paid plans expand that allowance.

RECORDS THAT STAND UP TO REVIEW
Keep original messages and available timestamps together with your journal, call activity, tasks, and expenses. Export supported data on every plan. Connect and higher add structured Verified Reports for an attorney, mediator, therapist, or court to review. Each report can include an optional Certificate of Authenticity so a reviewer can compare it with the original held by BestInterest. Courts decide admissibility.

Ratings and reviews

Doing the free trial for solo mode. Just rating calendar for now. rest later. I'm disappointed in the calendar. My coparent has 1st, 3rd, and 5th weekends and conditional mid week visits depending on who has her that weekend. The weekend is longer than what the pre-programmed version of 1st/3rd/5th looks like and I can't find any way to include the midweek. the custom calendar option won't do 1/3/5. no way to include holiday rotations. I suspect the context window is small. waiting to see when

On first glance is straight forward however I've experienced several hiccups while using the app. I'm new to this, explains things but once your actually start doing things there is no way to tell if what you've logged is correct according to the app. my biggest hiccup is that I use the calendar app solo and our schedule is random from week to week and now I'm having a TON of trouble attempting to get a court ready document for my dates. Not happy and at this point I'll probably switch apps.

After having tried virtually all co-parenting apps. BestInterest is the only method of communication my co-parent & I can trust to prevent escalation, and provide accountability without sacrificing any features that other co-parenting apps fall short of.
