Dowloaded the app, waited over an hour for food, called the customer service and they told me the restaurant was closed. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, the woman whose accent was impossible to uderstand, refused to transfer me to a supervisor. You're definitely better off just ordering over the phone or grubhub, I've never had a problem with them like this.
Skeptical at first, especially after my order was delayed and I called the restaurant who had no record of my order. Certain my payment was lost, I called BM's customer service and was immediately connected with an agent. They called the restaurant on my behalf, tracked down the order the restaurant had misplaced, and called me back to let me know it was already out for delivery. Extremely satisfied.
Very user friendly, but would be nice if the restaurant had some way of contacting me saying they got the order and a time estimate... I have no idea if they get my order until the show up at my door.
First time I used the app I waited over an hour after placing my order, finally called the restaurant and the restaurant didn't have my order. They called BeyondMenu and turns out they never sent my order to them. The restaurant called me back and apologized and had the order cooked and delivered to me in about 20 mins + free wontons. Loved the food, but will not be using this app again.
I like this app it works pretty well and it's easy to use. The only thing I would like is a description of the food, especially for ethnic foods I may have never heard of before.
This app really sucks and has made ordering delivery from my favorite restaurants an absolute nightmare. So much so, I don't even order from them anymore. Also seems impossible to get a non-grayed out credit card option when attempting to check out. Always cash only, no credit option. What an absolutely horrible app! Same results with desktop web browser or Android phone app. Consistent unusable garbage.
