The UI of this app I dislike. It didn't point out the store that would have delivered my items so I could easily contact them; it didn't inform me that the store wouldn't deliver past 7pm, so I didn't realize my order was set for the next day; sometime between selecting my sandwich and my confirmation page, my sandwich topping were cleared back to just "lettuce, tomato, provolone cheese". Basically, as a first time user of this app it was difficult to navigate correctly.
This app is so incredibly helpful for me. Not only do the perks include free sandwiches and cookies when you earn enough points, but connecting the app to my debit card makes it so convenient to quickly pay and not have to dig through my purse. Ordering ahead is immensely easy and I use it frequently. I only have 30 mins for my lunch break and ordering ahead saves me a great deal of time. My only complaint, and it's quite a minor one in my opinion, when I set a time for ordering ahead, it often will push back my time by 15 mins, but the stores are usually really good about prepping my food right away if I come early! Thank you for creating this!
Functionality is great. But you can't order and pick up in less than 45 minutes. Most apps will let you order and it'll be ready when you get there, depending on how busy they are. This will only let you order like 45-60 minutes ahead of time. Not very convenient. And I used the app once, paid through the app, and when I got there they made me pay again. They said they'd cancel the app order and I wouldn't get charged twice. Well, when I got back to work that day I found that they had charged me twice, so I called the store and they told me they would cancel the order. This never happened. So I paid twice because of this dumb app.
The first time I used I got charged twice. The cashier run it once and the charge went though and I got a receipt and a notification from my credit card that I showed her. She kept insisting that it did not go through and made me pay again and got a separate receipt and charge. Then she was happy and I got charged twice. Will have to complain to my credit card now.
Loses orders, places them 15m after the selected time. You name it and this app does it wrong. It's just a pain and not worth the hassle. Potbelly should get their money back from whomever built this app.
Not user friendly when setting store location. Can not choose immediate pickup. Better to just place orders through secure browser.
