Needs some UX love. Lots of good functionality but the screen is very cluttered and the font is so small it is downright painful on my pixel 7. So I grabbed my iPad only to discover that the iPad app only emulates an iPhone screen...same problem. My eyes are aren't that bad. I'd hate to be someone who needs glasses.

My previous review was about an old version. The current app does a lot of things very well, especially when compared to the other CrossFit apps. It tracks your progress very well and allows you to easily and accurately record how you scaled the WOD. However, the fact that the app forces users to choose one of two gender options when setting up profiles is a huge problem. At this point in history, it feels deliberately exclusionary. I've asked my gym to go back to SugarWOD until you fix this.

Ted, when logging a workout, this creates and links to a specific Workout ID (where other user's results also appear If they've done the same workout). Going back and modifying your submitted result, does not change what workout it is linked to. This is not a new thing with the update and is how btwb has always worked. Sorry for any confusion.

I've been doing crossfit for about 6yrs and using this app for almost 3 yrs now. The main selling feature in my opinion is the fitness scores. After the first few years it becomes harder to see improvements and difficult to know where to apply your focus. Having the detailed assessments of your different areas of fitness helps you direct your training to where it can most be effective. It can also help you see the small improvements that might otherwise be missed. Overall 👍👍
