I lost my game about a week ago. I was very disappointed because I have been playing for a little more than a year and was finally getting the hang of it. It's complicated but that's what makes it fun. I tried to play my old favorites but they seem pretty tame in comparison. In desperation I uninstalled and re-installed midnight castle and would up at the beginning--stuck in the castle and not even all the rooms or hidden object scenes or zoom zones. I had previously had access to the city, the elfin forest, the dark tower, the harbor, gateway to Atlantis, fairly land and a few more. It is pretty boring without the option to jump on the map. Tried again because I was looking forward to the Halloween event but it's not here yet. In fact, the areas on the map have changed their names from the ones I remember (according to where they were on the map). Other players are saying you have to tell Elephant games and Big Fish what level you were on, how many coins, shards and diamonds you had. Which pets you had activated--REALLY!!?? Aaargh! Thinking of just switching to a different game rather than work my way through all this again.

*Update* as much as I like this game, the areas take to long to recharge, it makes it hard to progress or even complete quest. Loving this game. I am an avid Big fish game lover. I was looking for something like this and I was surprised I didn't download sooner. I tried other games like this and they were either timed or had energy that quickly ran out. The graphics are awesome, just wish you could earn more coins.

Lovely game, but a little strange, and monotonous. There are some scenes that at some point change to something new. But most of the scenes are the same forever. Something that bothers me the most is how seasonal events don't fit the time of year they take place, and they nearly run into the holiday the next event should be covering. The main storyline is wonderful, but the game itself feels tedious.
