While the desktop app remains continually updated, this sits sort of working with a lot needing fixed two years and three months since last update. I do love the desktop client, but something is just wrong with how this works - it's slow, too slow. 1.2gbit connection and it'll occasionally pull 90mb. Acts like it's under load and will sit around quite a bit twiddling its thumbs. Needs some of the updates the desktop has received.

BiglyBT was great, I used it for years. But an update (late summer or fall 2025) to the program ruined it. It now crashes just about everything on my phone. I even uninstalled it and reinstalled it twice more, just to give it a fresh try with default settings. But as soon as I loaded a torrent into it (via magnet link) it immediately crashed my browser, it crashed my audiobook app, and then when I opened Settings to terminate biglyBT, Settings itself crashed before I could turn off biglyBT!

I love this program, but I'm about to have to stop using it because it just can't be trusted to keep my torrents. Three times now I've opened the app to find an empty torrent list. I've had close to 30 in the list each time. It did this in Oreo in my Samsung Note 8, and again in Pie after the update. There are never any files in the Files folder, so I can't re-add my torrents. I wish I could fix this.
