About this app

Bill Splitter makes dividing group expenses simple and accurate. Whether you are
at a restaurant with friends, splitting a trip budget, or settling costs after a
group event, Bill Splitter handles the math so you can focus on the moment.

Enter the total bill amount, set a tip percentage with the quick-select slider,
and add the people sharing the bill. The app instantly shows each person's share
of the subtotal and tip. For more complex situations, switch to item-by-item mode
and assign specific dishes or expenses to specific people — the app adjusts each
person's total accordingly.

When the split is ready, generate a formatted text summary showing every
person's breakdown and share it directly via WhatsApp, SMS, or any messaging
app on your device. You can also copy the summary to the clipboard with one tap.

KEY FEATURES

Bill splitting — enter any total amount and split it equally among any number
of people, with each person's share calculated instantly.

Tip calculator — set tip from 0% to 30% using the slider or tap a quick preset
(0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%). Tip is distributed proportionally across shares.

Item-by-item splitting — add individual items with their amounts and assign
each item to one or more people. Unassigned items are shared equally.

Multiple currencies — choose from PKR, USD, EUR, GBP, or INR with a currency
picker on the main screen.

Share summary — the full breakdown is formatted as a readable text message ready
to send via WhatsApp or any other app. Copy to clipboard is also available.

Quick-add names — tap preset name chips to add people faster, or type any name.

No internet required — all calculations are done locally on your device. No data
is sent anywhere, and no account is needed.

Clean, simple flow — the guided four-step flow (amount → people → items →
results) keeps the process fast and mistake-free.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Enter the bill total and set the tip.
2. Add the people splitting the bill.
3. Optionally add items and assign them to specific people.
4. Review each person's share and send the summary.

Bill Splitter stores no data between sessions. When you close the app, all
information is cleared. There are no ads, no analytics, and no permissions
required beyond sharing text via the system share sheet.
