About this app

KidsiCube is a launcher built for families: a simple, distraction-free home screen for your kid, with real parental controls behind it, all in one app.

Set it as your child's default home screen and pick which apps they can actually use. Set daily time limits, check in on usage from your parent dashboard, and help build better screen habits, without reading their messages or private conversations.

What you get:

• A calm, simple home screen your child opens every day, free of distractions
• Hide apps by default, only the ones you approve show up
• Daily time limits per app, enforced automatically
• See what's being used and for how long, using Android's Usage Access and AccessibilityService
• Optional location tracking and Safe Zones, so you know where your child's device is
• Optional Content Safety alerts for concerning messages or notifications
• A parent dashboard at KidsiCube.com to manage settings and check activity
• Parent settings locked behind your device's own screen lock
• Guided setup for your account, your child's profile, and the permissions needed

About AccessibilityService

KidsiCube uses Android's AccessibilityService to power its parental controls. Once a parent turns it on, it lets the app see what's happening on the child's device closely enough to enforce the rules you've set: usage tracking, app limits, that kind of thing.

It's not used to read messages, listen in on conversations, log keystrokes, or monitor anyone's private communications. That's not what it's for.

Before we ever ask for this permission, we explain exactly what it does and why. You have to read that and turn it on yourself on the child's device.

What we collect

To run KidsiCube, we collect your name, email, and account details; your child's profile info (age, gender, school, grade); a phone number for the SOS emergency-call feature; device identifiers and crash logs to keep things working; and app usage activity to power screen-time limits and insights.

If you turn on Location tracking, we collect your child's device location for Safe Zones. If you turn on Content Safety, we collect short excerpts from flagged notifications or texts, and filenames of new photos or videos, so you can review anything concerning. If you grant contacts access for home-screen search, we access your contacts so you can find them alongside apps.

Full messages, photos, videos, and conversations are never read, stored, or uploaded.

We built this around guidance, not surveillance. We don't read messages, record screens, or track what's typed. We only collect what's needed to make the parental-control and usage features work; details are in our Privacy Policy.

Getting started:

Install KidsiCube and set up a parent account
Add your child's profile
Set KidsiCube as the default home app
Grant Usage Access
Read the AccessibilityService disclosure and turn the service on if needed
Choose which apps are allowed and set time limits
Sign in at KidsiCube.com anytime to check usage and adjust settings

Built for parents who want a real launcher for their kid's phone, not just another tracking app bolted on top.

Permissions used: Usage Access, AccessibilityService, notification access, location (optional), contacts (optional), and default launcher access. Each one is explained during setup and only used for what's described above.
