Your phone is surrounded by Bluetooth signals you cannot see. BLE Radar makes them visible.
BLE Radar is a free Bluetooth Low Energy scanner built for security researchers, network professionals, developers, and anyone curious about the wireless environment around them. Point it at a room, a bag, or a parking lot and discover every BLE device broadcasting nearby — including ones that are deliberately hard to find.
Real-Time BLE Scanning
Tap Start Scan and the animated radar display lights up as devices appear. Each entry shows the device name (if broadcast), MAC address, current RSSI signal strength in dBm, a human-readable signal quality rating (Excellent / Good / Fair / Weak), and an estimated distance calculated from the RSSI using a calibrated free-space path loss formula.
Identify 15+ Device Types
BLE Radar automatically classifies devices based on manufacturer data, service UUIDs, and name patterns: Apple AirTag, Tile tracker, Samsung SmartTag, Apple AirPods, Fitbit wearable, iBeacon, Eddystone beacon, smart watches, phones, computers, generic headphones, and more. Knowing what type of device you are looking at — rather than just seeing a MAC address — makes the difference between a useful scan and a confusing wall of data.
Filter by Device Category
The filter menu lets you narrow the device list to Trackers, Audio devices, Beacons, Phones, Computers, or Wearables. When you are specifically looking for hidden tracking devices, the Trackers filter surfaces AirTags, Tile, and Samsung SmartTags immediately.
Device Detail View
Tap any device to see its full profile: MAC address, manufacturer data as a hex dump, advertised service UUIDs, last-seen timestamp, raw advertisement payload, and the calculated distance estimate. Copy the MAC address or UUID to the clipboard with a single tap.
Save Devices Across Sessions
Bookmark any device to the Saved tab. Saved devices persist across app restarts and are displayed alongside their most recent scan data when detected again. Remove individual bookmarks or clear the entire saved list at any time.
Background Scanning
Enable background scanning to continue monitoring for BLE devices while the app is minimised. A persistent foreground notification shows the current device count and provides a Stop button. Useful for extended security sweeps or monitoring a specific location over time.
Export to CSV
Export the current scan results as a CSV file and share it via any installed app. The export includes device name, MAC address, device type, RSSI, distance estimate, and last-seen time — ready for analysis in any spreadsheet application.
Zero Data Collection
No data is transmitted anywhere. All scanning happens entirely on your device. BLE Radar has no server, no analytics, and no account system.
