So far, so good! First of all, the app looks and feels like iMessage, and the private API features really add to that as well. Second, the setup process was somewhat confusing, especially with the Google Notifications, since I did run into a few errors. However, once set up, it has been working flawlessly. I set up the server on a Mac Mini I got from Facebook Marketplace, and I just leave it running, and I don't have to ever touch it.

Great. But it always has an issue sending g videos. My screen has to be on. In that chat for a video to send. Otherwise it fails. Recently, video sending has caused the app to stop working unless I restart it from my MacBook terminal. Which is very inconvenient when I'm out for the whole day and I'm entirely without imessage until then

When you send a video, do you see the "Waiting for iMessage" text? If you do, that means the attachment has been uploaded to the server and has been sent, but in progress. You can check this by looking at your Mac's iMessage app and see if the chat has a blue loading bar. It may be iMessage taking too long to send the attachment, not BlueBubbles
