BlueBubbles is an open-source and cross-platform ecosystem of apps aimed to bring iMessage to Android, Windows, Linux, and Web! With BlueBubbles, you'll be able to send messages, media, and much more to your friends and family.

Ratings and reviews

Blue bubbles delivers an excellent experience for users who are able and willing to devote sometime to understanding and using it. I suspect most of the low reviews here are for users who don't have a enough experience or time invested. The team is in constant contact with its users base and continues to make improvements, and any fixes that need to be applied are done quickly.

What you're able to achieve is pretty magical! Once you go through the steps of setting things up (which can be a little bit of a process), it's really an awesome experience. Albeit the occasional hiccup and troubleshooting, it's worth it because what this app enables you to do is phenomenal.

Great overall experience. You do have to jump through some hoops to get it working, but its a one time process. I have an old mac mini just plugged in and I've had no issues outside of the occassional disconnect. The app allows you to restart the server and you're good to go. Air message is much easier to set up (like insanely easy compared to this) but this app has a much better interface and way more features and customization. Now I can stay in my group chats with my iPhone friends.
