Exactly what I wanted. Just a metronome! I used to use an app called B'metronome which no longer exists, this is a great replacement. One suggestion for the dev- tap tempo could be improved by averaging the tempo from last 3-4 or so taps in succession, rather than always just basing it on the timing between the last 2 taps. As-is it is a little oversensitive to minor changes in tap timing accuracy.

Compact and easy to use. Excellent app!

Excellent minimalist app that does just the basic metronome with visual indicator, optional emphasis on first beat, settable subdivisions for more nuanced beats, and BPM with fine grained and course grained selectors plus tap pattern. Default sound for the click has just enough kick to be heard without disturbing people in adjacent room. This works great for my needs as a cello player learning classical music and traditional Celtic tunes.
