This is very simple and easy to use! I like that it's tied directly to your Google account so you don't have to set the spreadsheet to be publicly editable by everyone, it makes it feel more secure. My main issues are that 1) it only scans to the very first column, and 2) if any of the cells in a row have something, it will skip to the next empty row or else add a brand new row. The second in particular is a major downside since we're looking to be able to scan barcodes into already partially-filled spreadsheets. If I may make a suggestion, it would be useful to be able to scan into whatever cell is currently selected rather than adding a new row. Both of these issues give me the impression that it's coded so that it automatically creates a row every time it scans, so I'm not sure how doable it would be to be able to focus on a cell and then move down to the next row. Other than that it's a great app!

The app works quite well. It's quite intuitive and is usually able to read all barcodes I've shown it. I'm using it to check attendance in my class. A problem I've run into, however, is that when two users are trying to use the same spreadsheet at the same time, sometimes one will overwrite what the other just wrote. Maybe it's trying to write into the last row rather than using the "append" method? This is quite honestly the only problem I've had with the app. Thanks for making it.
