Hylla is a shelf-sorting puzzle where the shelves themselves move.
A tall birch bookcase with peg holes down its sides. A mess of books, binders and vases on the floor in front of it. Three moves: put a thing on a shelf, slide a run of one colour to another shelf, or lift a plank out of its holes and set it a hole higher or lower. A vase needs a shelf three holes tall. A plant needs the light of the top shelf. A box goes at the bottom. The heights of the compartments are the puzzle, and you change them.
Every level is handed to a solver before you see it, so none is unsolvable. The par beside your move counter is the fewest moves the case can be tidied in, worked out on your phone from the same deal.
No timers. No energy. Nothing for sale at a stuck point. Undo is unlimited and free. Start over whenever you like.
THE ROOM
Every fifth case you tidy, something moves into the room and stays: a plant on the case, a picture on the wall, a cat asleep on top. Ten in all. The cat moves.
THE HANDICAP
From level 21 your rounds count toward a handicap, the way golf counts one: how far over par you usually land. It goes down when you play well. Compare it with a friend's, or with your own from last month.
THE DAILY
One case a day, the same for everyone. Par, a quiet streak, and a share card that is a picture of the tidy shelves - it never shows the mess, so it cannot spoil the puzzle.
Drawn entirely in code, in English, Swedish, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Turkish. Ads only between levels; one purchase removes them and gates nothing. No music, so yours keeps playing.
