About this game

Fjord Blocks is a block puzzle that waits for you.

Three pieces sit under the board. Drag them anywhere they fit. Fill a row or a column and it clears. That is the entire rule set — and there is no clock anywhere in the game, so you can put the phone down mid-move and the board will be exactly where you left it.

A PUZZLE THAT DOESN'T CHASE YOU

No timer. No move limit. No energy meter, no daily login reward. There is a streak counter, but it is just a number that quietly starts over if you miss a day — nothing nags you about it. Nothing in Fjord Blocks is designed to pull you back — it is designed to be worth returning to.

THE DAILY BOARD

One board a day, generated from the date itself, identical for everyone who plays it. There is no server and no account: the pieces are worked out from the day's number on your own device, which is why it still works on a plane.

Alongside your score sits par — what a careful reference player scores on that same board. Beating par is a real result, not a leaderboard position you share with a stranger who played for six hours.

FAIR BY DESIGN

A block puzzle earns its keep on one promise: the game must never hand you three pieces that cannot be placed at all. Fjord Blocks checks every tray before it reaches you and re-rolls the ones that are born dead.

What it will not do is save you from yourself. Place your pieces in an order that strands the third one and the run ends. That is the game.

WHAT'S IN IT

• Classic mode — endless, no clock, your best score to beat
• Daily challenge — the same board for everyone, with a par score
• A hold pocket for the piece you cannot place yet
• A calendar of the days you have played, and quiet milestones
• Works fully offline
• One optional daily reminder, off unless you turn it on

Free to play, with ads between runs. A single one-off purchase removes them forever — no subscription.
A calm block puzzle. No timer, no move limit — and one daily board for all.

What’s new

The board now has a visible edge.

Two players said the same thing in different words: it was hard to tell where
the 8x8 grid stopped. It was — the board had no outer boundary at all, and on
a dark screen you could only guess from wherever the pieces happened to reach.
There is a frame around it now.

The two darkest piece colours have also been lightened, so a filled square is
clearly a filled square whichever colour it lands in.
