Bounce Ladder by brabet is a climb you build yourself. The ball falls, and the only thing that sends it back up is a trampoline you drew a moment earlier by dragging a line under it.

The line you draw is the whole control scheme. Its angle decides which way the ball leaves, its length decides how much energy it returns, and it fades after a couple of seconds, so a good line is one you place just before the ball arrives rather than long in advance. Drawing early is the beginner mistake; the rhythm you eventually find is draw, bounce, draw again while the ball is still rising.

The shaft above you is not empty. Spikes line the walls, crushers open and close on a timer, and the gaps narrow the higher you get. A flat trampoline sends the ball straight into whatever is directly overhead, so most of the climb is about angling the bounce to slip past something rather than about power.

Crystals sit in the awkward places - tucked beside a spike, floating just off the safe line -- so collecting them costs you a riskier angle. They buy ball skins and trail colors in the shop, and the trail is genuinely useful as well as pretty, because it shows the arc you just took.

Height is the score and it persists. So does the crystal count.
