Jugabet takes the brick game and gives the paddle a gun. You still bounce the ball, still angle it off the paddle edge, but you can also fire straight up, and the two jobs pull your attention in opposite directions at exactly the wrong moment.
The blocks do not sit still. Rows drift sideways, some blocks descend a step at a time, and armoured ones need several hits, so the field is a moving target rather than a wall you slowly erode. Lining up a laser on a drifting block while the ball is coming down on the far side is the core tension of the whole game.
Drops fall from broken blocks. Freeze stops the whole field for a few seconds and is the panic button. Triple ball is chaos that clears enormous amounts if you can keep any of them alive. Paddle extend is the boring one that quietly saves the most runs.
Three modes: classic runs a set of hand-built layouts, endless generates rows that keep coming down, and boss round puts a single armoured mass on the field that shoots back.
The loss screen shows the score alongside the combo breakdown -- longest chain without dropping, best multi-block hit, laser accuracy -- which is a much better picture of the run than the score alone.
Jugabet is fully offline. No account, no purchases, no ads mid-round. Just a paddle, a laser and a wall that will not hold still.
A breaker paddle that also shoots, against blocks that move.
