Easy to use Curious about some duplicate Star Wars figures I had. App downloads and installs fast. Found all 10 of the carded figures and priced them between $0 and $8. Brian's Toys is a reseller, so of course you are not going to receive full price. They have to make some money too. Just because the Internet says a figure is worth $20 doesn't mean you will get $20. You need to also find a buyer willing to pay that price. I thought the app worked well for what it was supposed to do.
promises prices... That is until you find out that you need to supply email address and name and wait 2-3 days for a price quote. 2 things, 1. not comfortable "submitting" my list to be cataloged by a long term data mine... & 2 if I wanted to wait 2-3 days, I would just do the research myself.
Terrible...scanner rarely works...has major quirks. Some items scan ...no alert that it had achieved a scan. You have to manually go back on your phone to check...then everything goes blank and you have to leave the app and then come back in...your lucky if your item is still there. Could be so good.
Useless Only around 1 in 10 of my collection could actually be identified through the scan. While I understand this is a retail thing...and probably looks at pricing much like the pawn stars guys...I had a toy that sold for 125 on Amazon...that was priced at 34 dollars on this app. Like I actually sold it for 125 and it was a steal. Dont use this app and for the love of god don't sell your hard earned collectibles for pennies on the dollar.
Horrible App I thought I would be getting a quote on what my toys were worth, not what a pawn shop gypsy would pay me for them. If you want to know what your toys are worth at any given time ebay is the best way to see what people are paying. This guy gives you the so desperate ill give my toys away for my next fix prices lol. Great way to make money. Pay 3.00 for a 50.00 toy and list it for 75.00. His prices are Way overpriced and his offers are sickening because they are the kind of prices that prey on the desperate
I'd pass. Locks up and you have to close out and re-open. Not a good workflow to keep people using it. It does provide a nice personal inventory for myself. But could be done in a basic data collection/management app or Excel.
This update has minor improvements.
