Task Jar is a to-do list you write yourself. It starts empty apart from one group called General, and every task, count and chart is built from what you entered.
Tap Add task, type a title and pick a group. The task is saved with today's date as the day it was added.
Today shows a ring that fills as you tick things off: the number of tasks you completed today against the daily target from Settings. Under the ring sit counts for completed, open and target, and below that your open tasks, each with a real checkbox. Ticking one marks it done, stamps it with today's date and moves the ring straight away.
The Tasks tab lists everything, open items first and finished ones struck through underneath. A chip row filters by group, and each row has a checkbox, an edit icon and a delete icon with a confirmation.
Groups are yours to manage. Add one, rename one, delete one. Each row shows how many of its tasks are open and how many are done, and deleting a group moves its tasks to General rather than losing them.
Stats draws a bar chart of tasks completed on each of the last seven days and works out your completed total, open total, daily average, best day and the current streak of days with at least one completion. With nothing completed yet it says so rather than showing invented numbers.
Settings holds the daily target, a Hide completed tasks switch the Tasks tab honors, the group that is pre-selected when you add a task, and Clear all data after a confirmation.
Task Jar does not send notifications and will not alert you about a task.
Everything is stored on your device. There is no account, no sign-in, no sync, no backup, no sharing, no ads and no internet access at all — the app has no network permission.
Tick off a to-do list you wrote, and fill the day's ring towards your target.
