Volume Remap lets you control music and media with your phone’s volume buttons—using gestures instead of changing volume every time.
Map each volume key to actions with single tap, double tap, and long press:
• Default — normal volume up/down
• Next track
• Previous track
• Play / pause
ONLY WHEN SCREEN IS OFF
Turn on “Only when screen is off” to use your mappings while the display is off (great in a pocket or on a lock screen), and keep normal volume behavior when you’re actively using the phone.
HOW IT WORKS
Volume Remap uses Android’s Accessibility Service to detect volume key presses. The service does not read your screen, collect personal data, or perform actions on your behalf—it only handles volume key events for media control.
SETUP
1. Install Volume Remap
2. Open the app and follow onboarding
3. Enable the Volume Remap accessibility service in system settings
4. Customize your gesture mappings on the home screen
REQUIREMENTS
• Android 7.0 or later

Privacy: Volume Remap stores your gesture settings locally on your device. No account, analytics, or cloud sync.
Remap volume keys to skip tracks, play/pause & more—even with the screen off.
