The sky app streaming experience has improved over time. Whilst still not as reliable over a less -than-perfect signal as Netflix, it's not bad overall. Wish there were some way of accessing recordings on my own sky box from another network connection. What seems really stupid is not being able to see schedules for the BBC on the channel guide, but I believe this is not the fault of Sky but is some bizarre block from the BBC. EDIT: A week ago, no BBC listings, but there today! Policy change?

The adverts constantly crashing makes most shows unwatchable. It also doesn't sync your progress between the mobile and the box. So, to watch an episode you are already halfway through, you have to sit through several sets of adverts in order to get fast forward to the right bit. Then when those adverts crash, you have to start all over again! Regularly the adverts keep crashing in the same place, so you can never get to the bit of the show you want to watch!

At times it won't launch at all. Clear cache, uninstall/reinstall, still nothing. Eventually does though. It does like to freeze on ads for a couple of minutes at times before and during a show. Threw up an error when watching french open final last week and wouldn't resolve itself so just watched on TV instead. So does have a few bugs. Great when you don't get them though!
