Bubbles is your companion for home fermentation.

Track active ferments, follow step-by-step recipes, and get reminders so nothing sits forgotten on the counter. Whether you're just starting out or have a shelf full of bubbling jars, Bubbles helps you keep track of what you're making and when it's ready.

What you can do

- Built-in recipes for sauerkraut, kimchi, tepache, kombucha and more
- Create and save your own recipes with ingredients, steps, and reminders
- Import a recipe from any website, just paste a link
- Follow each ferment step-by-step and get notified when it's time to burp, taste, or move to the fridge
- Add notes and photos to track how each batch turns out
- Archive finished ferments and look back at what worked
- Guides covering salt, acidity, temperature, mold vs kahm yeast, cleaning, and storage
- Works offline once set up, internet is only needed for recipe import and purchases

Bubbles is built by a small team in Europe. Our servers and data are hosted in the EU, and the app is designed around GDPR principles — no sign-up required to get started and no data selling.

Premium

Bubbles is free to use with a core set of recipes, tracking and guides. An optional Bubbles Premium subscription unlocks additional recipes and features.

Privacy

Your recipes, ferments, notes and photos stay on your device by default. We don't require an email or account to use the app. Anonymous usage analytics can be turned off in Settings.

Start from a recipe, work through the prep, and Bubbles will remind you when a batch needs a look or is ready for its next step. Run as many as you like, save recipes of your own, and let the brine calculator handle the salt math. If you're new to fermenting, the guides are there to walk you through it.
