FPS describes how smoothly the game you're playing runs on your device. The more frames that fit in a second, the smoother the game will be. Frame rates lower than 30 FPS will cause you to feel lags in the game and lessen your enjoyment of the game.

Usage Stats Permission: To detect the games you are playing, we need to be able to see the last running app. For this, we ask for your "Usage Stats" permission.

Overlay Permission: We ask for "Display Over Other Apps" permission so that we can show.

App List: We send your installed packages anonymously only to detect your installed games automatically.

You need this app to run a different app that's supposed to fix lag in your games. And guess what. THEY REALLY WORK! My game I can't run sometimes when my internet is bogged down actually runs with these two apps going. It's called Gaming VPN I think. If you're trying to fix lag issues, get them. You won't regret it. Very easy to use. 2 clicks and BAM, internet is sped up. How can you go wrong with that? Answer, you can't!

During games, it isnt too bad. All my games went up by at least 5-10 fps. However, as soon as I get to my home screen, it lags so much because the app closed it while I was playing a game, which is normal. But then, it gets worse because two advertisements pop up like 5 seconds later, which makes it REALLY laggy, especially because I have a moto which model is probably almost 1/3 as old as old man jenkins. Besides that, everything is going well.

While it does display the FPS and it does seem to help with lag, it has some very serious flaws. The frames per second icon won't let you click on anything underneath it. If the game loses focus for even a brief moment, this app will go through the entire UNNESARILY long animation of boosting the game, which will cost you if you're in the middle of a stupid match. There's no need for this. I'm appalled! I emailed the devs so maybe they'll fix it.
