About this app

Cabinet Cutlist helps you plan rectangular parts for cabinets, shelving and workshop projects. Start with the boards you actually have, check the cutting layout, then record used stock and reusable offcuts when the work is complete.

Plan with real board stock
Save material, thickness, dimensions, quantity, cost and storage location. Use different board sizes and offcuts, choose priorities for cost, board area or board count, and decide whether to use offcuts first. Allow or prevent rotation for each part.

Keep finished and cutting dimensions clear
• Enter each part’s finished width, height and quantity.
• Set band material and thickness separately for the top, right, bottom and left edges.
• Include machining allowance, saw kerf and outer edge trim.
• See finished dimensions, cut-blank dimensions and rotated placement dimensions separately in drawing legends and part labels.
• Use mm, cm, inches or feet, including fractional inch entries.

Work from the layout
Select a part in the board diagram to inspect its dimensions and position. Adjust coordinates and rotation with checks for board boundaries, overlaps and straight-through cutting. Follow the cut sequence within the usable board area after preparing the outer trim, and mark parts as cut.

Pause, resume and reuse real remnants
Keep input drafts and cut marks on this device, then resume the job later. Record a partial cutting stage to replan only the uncut parts, or record the completed job. For every remnant, confirm whether to discard it or keep it with measured dimensions and a storage location. Only confirmed remnants are added to stock for the next job. Recording a cutting stage deducts the boards used and preserves its cutting history; planning alone does not change stock.

Undo or redo the last change. Review changes that affect a plan with cut marks and keep its earlier cutting record. Back up the saved job and stock together, and review an import before restoring it. Save editor drafts and confirm remnant decisions before exporting a backup.

Enter variants and repeat jobs
Save a part and continue with the next, or create a size variant. Reuse only the parts from a completed cutting record in an empty job with no cutting in progress. Current stock is kept.

Bring your parts list and share the job
• Paste spreadsheet rows or import CSV, map columns and preview every row. Correct row errors before adding all reviewed parts together.
• Share board PDFs, SVG drawings and printable part labels.
• Export all board PDFs, labels and the parts list in one cutting-job package.
• Export DXF geometry.
• Back up and restore stock, parts, layout adjustments and job history together.

Additional layout search targets small jobs. Larger jobs keep the existing candidates; improvement is not guaranteed. Saved layouts are not automatically replanned.

Designed for rectangular parts cut with straight-through cuts. Layout priorities compare feasible arrangements; they do not guarantee the global optimum. PDFs are scaled drawings, not full-size cutting templates. SVG and DXF exports provide geometry rather than machine toolpaths. Check the material, edge treatment, kerf and actual dimensions before cutting.

What’s new

Units can follow the device region: in for the US, mm elsewhere. You can also select mm, cm, in or ft manually.
Thickness, kerf, margins and coordinates, plus dimensions in PDF, labels and SVG, use the selected unit.
Existing dimensions are preserved. Stored data, CSV and DXF remain in mm.
Use a decimal dot with no thousands separators (1234.5). Ambiguous comma notation is rejected.
