DEFAULT PHONE HANDLER REQUIRED
To screen incoming calls in real time and block spam, Android requires CallFilter to be set as your default Phone app or Call Screening app. You will be asked to grant this during setup. You can revoke it anytime from Settings > Default apps.

PERMISSIONS
- Phone and Call Log — required to identify incoming calls and block spam, used only while CallFilter is your default handler.
- Contacts — optional, used only to match incoming numbers with your saved contacts so known callers are not flagged as unknown.
