About this app

Turn your phone's camera into a real webcam on your Windows PC. CamWire presents your phone camera as a virtual webcam that Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, OBS, Discord and every app see as a normal camera.

Got a bad laptop webcam? Use your phone's far better camera instead — for free.

• Fully local and private
Video streams directly from your phone to your own computer. Nothing goes to the cloud, we run no server, no account needed. Your camera video never leaves your local network.

• Low latency, up to 4K
Hardware-accelerated H.264 encoding. Your phone's real camera quality, smooth and low-latency.

• Works with every app
Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, OBS, Discord and more see "CamWire Camera" as a normal webcam.

• Wi-Fi or USB
Auto-discovery on the same Wi-Fi; connect by USB if you prefer a cable. Front/back camera switch, zoom, flash, white balance and exposure controls.

• 13 languages
Automatic by device language; you can also pick manually in settings.

• Free
No watermark, no time limit, no subscription.

How it works:
1. Install the free CamWire app on your PC: https://camwire.app
2. Connect the phone to the same Wi-Fi as your PC (or plug in USB).
3. Tap Start on the phone, then pick "CamWire Camera" as the camera in your video app.

Note: To use CamWire you must install the free desktop app on your Windows PC (camwire.app). This is not a standalone camera app; it turns your phone into your PC's webcam.

Privacy: https://camwire.app/privacy.html
