About this app

You've waited years to call Canada home. Practice with the same kind of questions you'll see on test day, and walk in ready.

This is an independent study app for the Canadian citizenship test. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Government of Canada or Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). For official information and the real test, always refer to canada.ca.

The Canadian Citizenship Test 2026 app is built around the publicly available Discover Canada study guide published by IRCC. Hundreds of practice questions are organized the way the real test is organized: rights and responsibilities, history, federal and provincial government, geography, symbols, and the current facts new Canadians are expected to know.

WHAT'S INSIDE
20-question timed mock tests that mirror the official format
Multiple full-length mock exams plus quick quizzes for short study sessions
Flashcards for quick review on the bus or in line at the grocery store
The full Discover Canada study guide bundled in the app
A 2026 update covering the current Prime Minister, Governor General, Chief Justice, and the monarch, refreshed when officeholders change
Daily streak so a few minutes a day adds up to test-ready confidence
Achievement badges that track your real study milestones
A small download (under 30 MB) that respects your data plan
Works offline once installed, so you can practice on a flight or in the subway
Study reminders at the time of day that works for you

WHY THIS APP
We built this for the person staring at the Discover Canada PDF on their phone, trying to remember whether the Charter of Rights and Freedoms came in 1867 or 1982 (it's 1982). The PDF is a great document. It is not a great study tool.

This app turns every fact in the guide into something you can recall under exam pressure. Take a quick five-question quiz at the bus stop. Run a full 20-question timed mock when you have a moment. Watch the streak counter remind you that learning a country takes more than a single afternoon.

DESIGNED FOR
Permanent residents preparing for the IRCC citizenship test
Newcomers studying English alongside the Discover Canada content
Anyone preparing for a family member's test and wanting to quiz along
Anyone brushing up on Canadian civics and history

PRIVACY
Your quiz progress, streak, and answer history are stored on your device. This app is ad-supported; ad delivery may use an advertising ID and approximate location, as disclosed in the Data Safety section, separate from your quiz progress. No account or login is required to use the app.

NOT AN OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT APP
This app is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Government of Canada, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), or any other government body. "Canada," "Discover Canada," and related names are used solely to describe the subject matter of the study material. For official information, applications, and the real test, always refer to canada.ca.

DATA SOURCES
Practice questions and reference content are written from publicly available sources, including "Discover Canada" (IRCC), canada.ca, Statistics Canada, The Canadian Encyclopedia, Elections Canada, and provincial and territorial government sites.

The 2026 officeholder update reflects information published on official Government of Canada websites at the time of release. If a name on screen no longer matches the current officeholder, tap "Share feedback" and we'll push a content update.

GETTING READY
Install once. Practice in the morning with your coffee. Run a mock test on the train home. Study a little every day, and walk into test day ready.
