The app looks clean, organised, and easy to use, and its core performance seems strong, but I had to uninstall it because it felt too risky to trust. I once lost important files to a cleaner app that deleted things I could not properly review, and MaxManager felt similar: items were grouped for cleaning, but I could not open or expand them properly to check file names first. The notifications were also excessive and slowed my phone down, so I decided not to continue using it.

Way too many ads my man. I actually donate at least once (with some software I make a donation every time there is a major release. Notepad++ is one I do that with) to the Developers behind each of my favorite Open Source apps but I've never paid for an app before downloading it Really you made a good little app. My suggestion: strip out about 80% (at least 50%) of the adds and offer a cheap ($2 or $3) one time fee to remove them all

CAREFUL.. Can't view files or select what's to be deleted or not when cleaning phone. I counted half a dozen files that were listed as junk to be deleted that actually were files I want or need, files I didn't have backups on yet, and files I would have been highly upset if I lost. I'm so glad I saw them and didn't finish "cleaning" my phone. Lesson learned, app deleted, backups made.
