About this app

VIDEO EDITING. WITHOUT THE NONSENSE.

Video editing got buried under accounts, feeds, ads, subscriptions, cloud uploads, and watermarks. MonoSplit cuts through all of it.

MonoSplit is a full-timeline video editor built for people who want to edit their footage and get on with their lives. No account. No advertising. No cloud dependency. No watermark. Your media stays on your device.

CUT THE TIMELINE

Trim, split, reorder, and arrange video clips with a timeline designed for direct control. Step through frames, adjust speed, add markers, and undo your edits without fighting the interface.

BUILD THE FRAME

Combine video, photos, text, subtitles, stickers, and picture-in-picture layers. Crop, rotate, transform, animate, and compose projects for landscape, portrait, square, and social formats.

SHAPE THE LOOK

Adjust color and exposure, apply filters, import LUTs, and add grain, scanlines, VHS treatments, glitch effects, fades, and transitions.

WORK WITH SOUND AND WORDS

Add music, extract audio, record voiceovers, adjust volume, fade tracks, and mix multiple audio layers. Generate editable captions on-device, restyle them, and export subtitles when you need a separate caption file.

EXPORT THE VIDEO

Export finished videos directly to your device in H.264 or HEVC, with resolution and frame-rate options based on what your hardware can actually encode.

LOCAL BY DESIGN

MonoSplit does not require an account, does not upload your footage, does not contain advertising, and does not put a watermark over your work.

The timeline belongs to you. It should act like it.
A serious local video editor. No ads, cloud uploads, accounts, or watermarks.
