The app works good. Problem is with the cooler. It has a high degree of temperature fluctuations. I set it to use as a freezer @ -4°F. Upon startup conected to 120v power it got down to that. After loading, quickly plugging into the car and leaving it closed the entire day, the temperature had reached +9°F. It varied from 5°F to 7°F most of the day.

Yeah the app is not good. It just doesn't do much. Mine reads 59 volts pretty much no matter what I'm running, even though i power a full size fridge 24/7. I don't think much of the 3000 watt inverter either. The fans run ALOT. There have been several instances where the power dropped randomly just running a few lights and fridge. This never happened with my old inverter.

The old, generic app that I used to control my old refrigerator worked perfectly and did not REQUIRE exact location information. If you remove it, the app refuses to function and continues to tell you to enable location permissions. It has access to nearby devices, it does NOT need my location to function. Overall the app is a little bit more polished but I would much prefer the old app over this data harvesting one. I disabled its access to the internet though so at least that's something.
